Ingredients
  • 1 bag fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/3 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed from 3-4 oranges or from high-quality OJ)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 pinch cinnamon optional
  • 1 pinch ginger optional

  • 1/3 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed from 3-4 oranges or from high-quality OJ)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 pinch ginger optional

Cook Time -20minutes
Instructions
  1. Combine orange juice and maple syrup and heat in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Once orange juice and maple syrup are warmed and well-combined (a few minutes) dump the cranberries in and stir.
  3. Stir every few minutes until you notice cranberries have softened and split and mixture has started to look a bit like jelly (this takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on whether you use fresh or frozen cranberries).
  4. Add spices (optional) and stir. Remove from heat and allow cranberry sauce to cool.
